"The tide is taking me away!" Mr. Starfish smiled calmly. "Don't panic, Timmy," he said. "Swim parallel to the shore until you're out of the current." Timmy did as he was told, and soon he was safe. "Thank you, Mr. Starfish!" he said. "I'll never forget your advice." From that day on, Timmy always listened to Shelly's warnings and respected the power of the ocean. He learned that even though adventures are fun, safety always comes first. Moral of the Story: * Always listen to warnings from your friends and elders. * Be aware of your surroundings, especially when near water. * If you're ever in trouble, stay calm and ask for help.

Page 1 Xiaoming and Xiaohua joined a special tour. Their destination was Lung Yeuk Tau, a place full of history and beautiful scenery. Page 2 They got on the bus, excitedly looking at the view outside. The tour guide told them that there is a mountain shaped like a dragon jumping! Page 3 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, Xiaoming and Xiaohua first visited the old village called Lo Wai. The tall walls and narrow gate made them feel curious. Page 4 The guide told them stories about Lo Wai. In the past, villagers built these defenses to protect against pirates, making them feel very safe. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple. Inside the temple were beautiful statues, and there were two ancient bronze bells used for praying for safety. Page 6 Xiaohua was especially interested in the stories about the Tin Hau Temple. She learned that villagers would take the statues out to parade during Tin Hau's birthday. Page 7 Finally, they visited the Songling Tang Kung Ancestral Hall. A day on the beach swimming in the sea

John Jr told Vasi that kindness was the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate. John Jr and Vasi decided to go out and try to be kind to everything for the day. 3. They went for walk into town. John Jr decided to gather old books to donate to the Children's home. John Jr told Vasi to smile at everyone. They smiled and everyone smiled back. John Jr and Vasi took books to the Children's home and they recieved compliments for their kindness. That made John Jr and Vasi feel good inside. 2. John Jr and Vasi decided to go to store to pick up something to feed the birds and a snack for themselves. When they got to store, John Jr and Vasi held door open for people. As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on. John Jr gave them a compliment. The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi. 3. John Jr shared a quote by Mark Twain "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see". John Jr and Vasi tell each other how easy it is to be kind 4. John Jr and Vasi saw a mom with 5 young kids struggling to push two carts to her car. John Jr and Vasi go over and push the 2nd cart and help keep the kids safe. At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts. The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought. 5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way. At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person. His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.
