Nik is from Haiti and moving to America to go to school. He is excited to meet his new family, 3 brothers and 2 sisters and a dog. He is very scared to leave Haiti. Nik was scared on the plane but loved seeing the big city lights. He liked his new home, it was bigger than hes ever seen. The washing machine and dryer was very scary to him because he had never seen one before. His dog Luna was sweet and friendly. All of the food is very different. He didn't like ice cream or cake but he loved spaghetti and pizza. Nik was both excited and sad at bedtime. He's never had a room or a bed to himself so it was a little scary. His new mom stayed with him until he was ready for sleep. As he lied there alone, looking at the stars in the sky, he wasn't scared anymore because he knew his family in Haiti was looking at the same stars.

Other children watch what happens and Destiny feels self conscious. 7. Destiny get home and looks longingly out of the window. 8. The next day, Destiny gets ready for school 9. Her doorbell rings, and it is Hanna (an Asian girl around 7) who asks Destiny to walk to school together. 10. They walk to school. And kids of all races join them in their walk to school together.

A little girl named Reese did not want to ap at school. She wasn't tired and there were too many exciting things to learn. But when Reese didn't nap she would cry, made too much noise, and woke up other kids. Her teacher helped her find other quiet activities to do on her mat instead, such as playing with her busy book, reading a story, water painting, or play ISpy. Reese looked at her Choice Board and made better choices. Everyone was happy and naps were not a fight anymore.

１.ある日、アフリカにある小さな村の病院で産声が上がりました。親はこの生まれた少女にジニース・イリーヤという名前を付けました。 ２.ジニース・イリーヤはすくすくと育ち、ちょっぴり恥ずかしがり屋だけど皆と話したりすることが大好きでたちまち彼女は大人気となりました。 ３.ジニース・イリーヤが高校生を卒業した時、アメリカでアフリカ人などの黒人が差別されているという問題が起きました。ジニースは家族とアメリカに旅行に行く予定でしたが、親がこういう問題の中でジニース・イリーヤにつらい思いをさせたくないと思い旅行をキャンセルしました。この旅行を楽しみにしていたジニース・イリーヤはとても悲しみました。そしてそれと同時にこの差別を無くしたいという思いがわいてきました。 ４.ジニース・イリーヤが23歳の時、自分の丸いアフロヘアーが役に立つのではないか。と思いこの丸いアフロヘアーで活躍することでこの髪型に興味を持ってもらい、差別を無くしていこうと思ったのです。早速準備を始めます。 ５.まずこの丸いアフロヘアーは水に強いということを実証します。まず公民プールに行って帽子なしで泳ぎ始めました。そして最後はプールの中に潜りました。その時は髪型はとても濡れていてびしょびしょでしたがジニースが頭を振るとアフロが元通りになりました。この様子を撮った動画をニーチューブにアップロードしました。 ６.次にアフロは風に強いんたぞという事を実証するために暴風訓練場に来ました。まず風速５mの風を受けてみました。全然びくともしません。次に風速３０mの風を受けてみました。髪はかなりなびいています。服もばたばたという音を出しながらかなり強くなびいています。しかし、ロングヘアーなどは風が強いと目にかかったり引っ張られて痛いのでアフロヘアーは風に強いという事を実証しました。 ７、この二つの動画はたちまちアメリカでも拡散されとても話題になりアフロヘアーのアメリカ人女性が増えて黒人に対する差別行為が少なくなりました。こうしてジニース・イリーヤは黒人差別を無くした英雄として語り継がれました。

As she hopped along, she spotted a tiny butterfly fluttering by. "Hello, little butterfly!" Pip said excitedly, hopping after it. The butterfly flew higher and higher, and Pip followed, her little paws bouncing across the grass. But soon, the butterfly disappeared behind a tall bush. Pip stopped and looked around, wondering where it had gone. To her surprise, she found a small door at the base of the bush. It was just the right size for a tiny bunny like her. With a wiggle of her nose, Pip pushed the door open and peeked inside. Behind the door was a magical garden, full of glowing flowers and sparkling leaves. A friendly mouse named Nibble was picking berries in the garden. "Welcome, Pip!" Nibble said with a smile. "I’m glad you found our secret garden. It’s a special place where friends can meet and share stories." Pip’s eyes sparkled with excitement. She spent the whole afternoon in the magical garden, making new friends and learning about all the wonderful plants and animals that lived there. When the sun began to set, Pip said goodbye to her new friends and hopped back home, her heart full of joy. She couldn’t wait to tell her family about the secret garden and the friendly mouse. And from that day on, Pip knew that sometimes, the best adventures are the ones you find when you’re curious and brave enough to explore. The End.

Emma lives in Scarborough with her single mother. They live in an apartment building. Her mom does 2 jobs to make ends meet, however with high rent and cost of living, theyhardly have enough money for food. So one day, along with her mom, Emma goes to the local foodbank that is run by Feed Scarborough. At the foodbank, while Emma was waiting in one corner reading some fun books, while her mom was shopping at the foodbank, Emma saw a racoon walking around, playing with an apple. Emma started talking with the Racoon. Racoon told Emma that his name is Dignity, and the apple is his friend, named Hope. Dignity told emma all about food insecurity in our community and that she is not the only one who comes to the foodbank. Feed Scarborough's foodbanks are set up like a grocery store, so her mom can pick and choose the food that Emma likes. Dignity also told Emma about so many children, who are not having enough food to eat nowadays as times are tough. Dignity told Emma that better days are coming soon as Toronto's Mayor and Canada's Prime Minister is working together to have better food in school so no children need to study in empty stomach. As dignity was telling Emma these stories, suddenly Emma heard her Mom's voice, calling out to her. As she turned towards the door, she saw her mom asking her to come with her so they can leave the foodbank. As Emma turned back, Dignity and Hope was nowhere to be seen. Was Dignity and Hope real? Were they really there telling Emma the story or were they franction of her imagination, as on the wall, there was a poster of Dignity and Hope (which are the mascots of Feed Scarborough.
