John Jr knew Jesus was showed selflessness. They knew that love Jrsus showed others sought nothing in return; he gave his time and energy freely to anyone who asked for it and plenty that didn't; he even humbled himself to the point of washing his friends' feet 2. They were going to try to Donate, Volunteer, Serve others: Compliment instead of criticize:, Empathize with others, and Practice active listening:. 3. John Jr and Jade reflected on the verse In Philippians 2:3-4 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." The remembered Jesus teaching the principles of cultivating humility, putting love into action, serving others, actively listening, practicing empathy, giving freely, forgiving, praying for selflessness, and seeking accountability,. John Jr and Jade had a desire to be more like Jesus and started being more selfless in their lives.
